Collaborations
NIGAT collaborates with The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), the professional organisation for Art Therapists / Art Psychotherapists in the United Kingdom.
In January 2003 the BAAT regional group 20 (Northern Ireland) was formed. Membership of this regional group is open to BAAT members who are Art Therapists / Art Psychotherapists, or students on the HPC approved MSc Art Therapy. It is hoped that this will offer opportunities for Northern Ireland BAAT members to avail of professional support, continuing professional development (CPD), peer supervision etc. The group has a regional co-ordinator who can be contacted via the NIGAT email address.
